Mystery silver dollars

These are from what I can see with the shape from the genus Myleus not Metynnis of which the common Silver dollar (argenteus) is a member. So they should grow to a disc size of 7-8" minimum and my guess is the beautiful pattern will give way to a more uniform silver, which will show faint markings of what you see now. Many Myleus have intricate colourful patterns as juvies.
These you have are interesting and I will follow this thread with great interest.

Their patterns are similar to scats (scatophagus multifasciatus), but I do agree with aquaman45, probably a Myleus or Mylossoma species.
