Mystery Snails x Japanese Trapdoor snails?

Hey everyone, so a couple of weeks ago I bought a mystery snail and a trapdoor snail on the same day (but they were in separate tanks). The next day, I saw them climbing on top of each other. I know that the mystery snail is male and the trapdoor is female. A few days later, I noticed some weird snails in the tank. Didn't add anything new, but I thought maybe some eggs on the plants had stayed for a month or two and hatched. The next day, I actually saw the trapdoor giving birth to one of those snails. My question is, was she pregnant when I bought her, or do I have hybrids in my tank?

I’m not sure about how trap door snails procreate but I know mystery snails lay eggs above the water line (bred a few generations of them) so I don’t think they’re a hybrid.

No, the mystery snail is the male. Japanese trapdoors are livebearers.

Considering they don’t even have the same birthing process I wouldn’t think they made a hybrid. If they did however send a few my way, I’d want to observe them myself.
