Quarantine Tank
Im thinking about getting one but still on the fence...

Could you please share your setups and why you love them so much? I havent had one in 20 years, so its been awhile!

Mine is currently in a 20 long, half full with dock, filter, sand, piece of driftwood and some convict buddies. Very active and fun to watch chase the convicts for a piece of food. Will go into a pond when bigger.

Inspire me! Pics please....

These are the only ones on this computer.

Barebottom, cinderblock as a basking platform.
Moving her to a 125G pond out on my deck for the summer.

All that matters is what you want.
:D

easiest set-up to do is just get the largest rubbermaid container you can find and grow your RES out in that.
Around christmas time is when I picked up my "Christmas tree box" It's about 5' long and 18'' wide or so, and 12'' deep.
It's also clear so you can watch the turtle swim. Not as clear as a tank or anything but for $15 I cant complain.
I also like using a rubber maid because you can cut holes for intake/outtake for a sump or canister much easier.
