Name this Fish ??

Does anyone know the name of this fish? When I brought home a few bags of Cichlids from the LFS a few months ago 2 of these were mixed in . They were very small, but have since grown to about 2.5 to 3 inches. they have a nice rusty brown colour to them.
Even the LFS does'nt know what they are. Any idea's ??:confused:

To me; it looks like either a Rusty or Tropheop/Zebra hybird but I'm not sure there's 1,000's of mbunas

There is a Metriaclima sp "membe deep" Female you might want to take a closer look into perhaps the color in the pic is alittle off of true life.
 
Thanks for the reply. I,ve looked into the "membe deep " female, but it is far too yellow. these were that rusty golden brown since they were an inch and a half. now there about 3 inches. no change.
I'm tending to agree with your hybrid statement, maby we'll never really know.
 
Whatever it is I like it!! I think the color is nice is it m/f or do you have one of each? I mean can you tell by the way they act toward each other and stuff...?
 
yea, go with fred and wilma...sounds good. My daughter named my yellow lab "Bubbles".
 
Yes, and Yes... I hope they do produce some little ones. I could sell them back to the LFS I got them from. With of course there new name. " The Fred Cichlid " Ha...
