Pbass usually don't get that black coloring on there forehead in till later dark color around the lips is another indicator. How long you had um for?

2 months i got him about 2'' its weird he changes colors depending on his moods it seems when i spook him he gets those dark markings
Pretty tuff to tell. At one time or another ive seen several species look just like that. I can tell you that it is NOT an Orino, Azul, Temensis, Pinima, Broko or Xingu. Head shape looks very Mono, but could be an Ocel. Very very very slim chance Kelberi. All three of those species look very similar at that age, though most Kelberi by that time have started to show atleast some signs of their pectoral and anal fin spangling. Hope that helps.
it does and u sound like u know what u are talking about but what do you mean by spangleing his black dot is surrounded by yellow that is surrounded by all red he is about 5'' and he mainly eats krill
My little mono's change colors when spooked like that as well. They look like Mono's to me but I'm no expert with these.
i got 3 new peacock bass around 3 inch or so and i was wondering if i could put a 2inch or 2and half inch bichir with them?
