There are two types of Blue Eyes, BEC and BES. Even among each type, there are two different color bases. The one in the back of the tank is more olive/brown based, the one hanging on the driftwood having this anus facing us is more grey/bluish based.

Supply and demand. It all depends on where you are. Here in the states, they normally range from $500~800, depending on type, size, and where you are. There is this fella online that was crazy enough to sell it for $250... but he's kookoo!! You know who you are!!!
Not sure about in Denmark.
For example, Asian Arowanas, in the states, they are illegal, so in the black market, they are worth $3000. In Taiwan, they are legal, but a decent quality one still starts at $1500k. In Singapore, where they breed them, good quality ones starts at $300.

My lfs gets wilds a couple times a year around 10-12" for around $500. Right now he has two one for $600 and a pair for $1000. I'm in Canada

Wow those are some impressive pleco's. Is that all of them in the tank or are there more just not in the shot? Also how big is there home? Very impressive. That Blue Eye in the back looks awesome.
That's about 1/2 of the tank, give or tank 5~10 pcs. They were all in a 240g, 180g, and 4 40gs. Believe it or not, ALL my 40g, and the 240g tanks leaked. So consolidated them all into 180!!!!!
guess it's the higher power trying to challenge my pleco keeping ability.......
Oh dang that's some messed up luck. I showed the picture to my parents cause they say I own way to many fish and well now they think your more nuts then me lol.
