Can you keep a fahaka with any other fish or do they need to stick with puffers? My lfs has one for $50 an he is an eye catcher but I've been putting off on him. I currently have a 8'' silver arowana, and plan on getting 2 stingrays this afternoon

They WILL kill anything on sight might be ok one night but don't be surprised the next couple mins

I believe it. I'm in my lfs every week ordering fish or seeing what's new and they had the fahaka for about a month and I still stop at his tank to watch him
My Fahaka's name is lil beast. Rightly so as the only fish he tolerated in my 125 was those before him which were 2 eels and 2 gsp's. he is now going into a 40 gallon breeder for 2 months while i setup his 120 wide. I just love him, he is always exploring.
I just picked up 7 Malabar puffers today... my step-daughter promptly started calling them the seven dwarves...very fitting-- and cool that my 9 year old is becoming very interested in my hobby.
