Naming your fish

Do you guys and gals, give names to your fish like Spike... or Goldy?

I don't, I am not sure why though? For some reason I just don't think names fit fish.

I got too many fishes to give names to...even if i do name them...the next moment..i would forget who is who..haha...

Depends on the fish. My unique or "pet" fish have names...like the oscars but fish like my corys or tetras don't unless they do something that deserves a name.

I name mine if they deserve it, or if I find it amusing. for instance: the feeder that got away is lucky, my albino channel catfish is named catatafish (southpark lemmiwinks episode) and i have a big black more that is in with a bunch of smaller fish....we call him R kelley

And a blue crayfish named PINCHY after a Simpsons episode.

What the hell is a black more? Is that anything like a black MOOR?
