My Argenteas are pretty boring when i feed with fishes if they are over 1½" they dont eat it or trying to kill it... they just see the fu*king guppies as tankmates *lol*

And they wont, Vieja/Paratheraps are not predatory in nature, not in the sense the you speak of. The omnivorous. You should get a crenicichla or
cichla if that is what you are wanting.
Other than that the tank you have now should do just fine. GL

I would be willing to bet that this guy means he has a 413 liter tank, he said it was a grow out tank...who has a 400g grow out tank?

The aquarium. Lol J/K. Maybe he does, we can't really judge until we see the tank and get some dimensions

Edit: Just realized, if his tank really is 400G he's not going to need an upgrade lol

You may be able to do haits with argentea for a while. But both species are very aggressive especially with fish that have similar appearance. And the silver overall color of each seems to be enough for them to see each other as competition. I have a pair of nearly full grown haits (m 14", fe 12"), and they will kill any other fish in their tank.

I have had argentea in the past and found them to be one of the most agressive of the genus, and the males can be very intolerent of anything else.

Argentae can be very aggreesive. I had a 12 inch male a few years back that I could not keep anything with. He was in a 100. Black nasties (HAITENSIS) can be very aggressive also. Black nasties are hard to find at a large size due to high juvienile death because of bloat. If I had a black nasty that made it to adulthood I would not chance it with other fish. Your tank is large so that might help a great deal with agression. Good luck with what you decide.

ohh sorry... my mistake, they are in a 113 gallon tank atm. but im going to build a 600 gal. tank when i have the money... Sorry again...
