The one we have in a 125 grew FAST... and it is fed about every other day.

i'm fairly confident it is female, but the patterens are throwing me off, the ones in the front are distinted patterns but as you go twords the rear end, they start to fade out. i believe that this is mainly because of the way it was treated befroe you got it. and that it was recently put in the new aquaria, after a couple weeks it should have more distinted patterns throughout it's body, and will be eaier to sex.

Great looking Jag. I have a pair in a 90 for right now. I think they will go into a bigger tank in a few months. Good luck with her.
nice jag. they are now called parachromis managuense. i think it is a male be cause of shape and finnage. xr, feeders do not always hurt your fish as long as you do not get goldfish and make sure that they are not in a tank full of dead fish. we wil be able to tell its sex in a couple of inches so you should post more pics as it grows-good luck
