i've seen females BURSTING at the seams before... maybe raise the temp... provide a few more spawning sites... things will happen
She should be fine. Do a water change and drop the temperature a few degrees, that might get her to spawn. Add some more spawn sites as well. They look great though! Love it!
A few posts back I had said that she layed her eggs... About 100. I hope all goes well. I can see maybe 3 or 4 that are white and all others are brown...
Well I'm quite surprised today. What I thought was happening wasn't. I looked in at where the eggs were and only saw a few left and figured she was eating them like all my other fish do. She was really just moving the wigglers away from the unhatched eggs. She has a pile of wiggly eggs a few inches from the unhatched ones.This is my first time so i'm still chery. I'm hoping all goes well and i get a few fry out of it...
