How long did u keep them together?
My fish live together 4 months without any trouble

Unfortunately, my Nandus didn't survive a long move, but they were together for at least 3 years in a 75g.

No, about a week after I moved houses the Nandus died. I think it was the stress of a long move, and although I brought some tank water with me and the mature filter, it was virtually a new setup.
The Nandus never even had nipped fins living with the channa.
They both grew very slowly. They were introduced around the same size 2-2.5" and they were all around 5" when the Nandus died.
I've heard that Nandus get to a good size, but I've never seen one over 5-6".
