nano 10 gallon

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
cool i have a nano 10 gallon going right now and it seems to be doing very well....i would love to see some of the nano tanks around to so can you guys please post some pictures....

Ha! Got you all beat.... maybe except for anyone running a pico.
I have a 6gal nano and while I would say that there is almost little to no room for error, as long as you keep your parameters within a safe range, you should have no problem.
Heat on the other hand will be your downfall. I have had my tank crash severely during this summer's heatwave in my apartment that I litterally lost $$$ in corals.

I currently have in my 6 gal...
Frogspawn
Kenya Tree
Green Star Polyps
Various zoas and palys
Candycane
Trumpet
Some kind of Acan
Toadstool leathers
Unknown polyps
4 stripe damsel
clownfish
2 peppermint shrimp
3 turbo snails
2 nassarius snails
fireworms
Featherduster
misc small brittle starfish

Unfortunately, I cannot transfer a lot of them to my FOWLR tank.

i had a 1 gallon up for about 9 months before i got bored with it and just added the stuff into my 10 gallon

sorry
;)

i had a good chunk of rock in there, a small mushroom and a few zoos, small xenia, as well as a rehabilitating frag of SPS.. with 1 blue legged hermit, a baby molly and a few sexy shrimp

my neighbor had a modified flower vase up for a while i think it was a quart of water and a ghost shrimp with some (crazy awesome) zoos and a few heads of snake coral with halimeda

they are fun enough and challenging to start and look at for a while, but far too static IMO

Past tense.

Which means it's no longer running. Mine is current. So like I said... unless someone is running a pico.......

:screwy:

gimme a month

on second thought i may just get it running today just to spite you ;)

Well don't do anything spite me...... I might surprise you and come back with a 12oz drinking glass thriving with sand, live rock, coral and a few moving things.

;)

Or even better a shot glass.

If it can hold water I can sustain life in it.

a tank in a cup is a cool idea... you like take it to parties with you, just chill out with your fish out hahahaha :flamed: :hypnotize

a single drop with a brine shrimp living in it

ok you got me.

:p
