  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They've had Ornates and Endlis for a few weeks now...not sure if there are any left. But they were tiny when I first saw them...probably about 1"-2" And last time I saw them was probably last week.

I have to shoot a video, they really are too cute!

I got them from Azusa Pet on gladstone in azusa. They just got them in today and I got first pic of the few they had.

The owner is a really cool guy. How long has rainbow had them? This is good news, means there will be more baby bichirs coming in :D

I also saw young polli palmas in Long Beach, so hopefully we see some more babies :D

They were $20

He didn't bring many in, the bag had 7 total I think. They are worth the price, they all had great color and pattern.

sweeeeeet. looks like we got that ornate:D...

Just one, but I was sooo tempted to get at least one more. I'm still trying to resist.

A couple things to notice are the crazy asymmetrical pattern on it's pectoral fins, where usually ornates have stripes. Also, I picked this one because it has a lot of black pigment, it was the darkest between all of it's siblings.

Should be interesting to see the comparison between this one and the other two.

Tom's Tropical on Long Beach blvd, they are 5" for $25. They have 3" endli for $29.99 but that's too pricey IMO, could try to talk them down a bit.

Sure bud I can grow them out for you. They will mainly be getting massivore though, so it they don't like frozen shrimp anymore don't get mad lol

yeah my bigger ornate is alot lighter then my smaller one. he is almost pitch black. got him about the same size as your new one. now he's about 7".
i saw her and i knew my mono needed a tankmate in his 75 so i bought her. now the smaller guys are big enough to where she wont eat them so i just added her to the tank about 5 hours ago.

Cool, good luck with the xfer, how is it doing now vaine?
