Nano tank contest...

I would think as soon as we can get a few more people serious about starting.
 
how many people do we need...this will be fun if we can get enough people todo it
 
I would say 5 or more because some always drp out. We did this contest on one of my salt boards. we started with like 20 people but finished with like 3 because of crashes etc. So 5 quality tanks would be a great start. I also hope this contest begins!

I agree its a cool idea but i doubt ya gonna get much interest. Its too much money for what it is especially with no prize. I also dont have a digi cam so even if i was interested i wouldnt be able to send in pics.
 
Well thanks for the interest everyone. By reading the post I understand that this is not going to happen. I will try this again in 6 or more months. Hopefully by then we will have enough people.
 
Next time you guys try, shoot me a PM. I don't come here much as I don't have any SW setups anymore. I've been looking for an excuse to try a nano sps setup. I think that would be a real challenge, and that way I could tell the wife, "but honey, it's for a contest". :D
 
I do have a 1'x1'x1' tank with nothing in it at the moment, but when my uni break starts in about 4 weeks, I will be doing a nano FOWLR. I've got a 5' running at the moment, so water change shouldn't be an issue for me. I plan on probably changing a cup of water per day?

I probably be using just a internal filter or something, because its one of those ones that has a closed top with the light inbuilt, so no way can I attach a protein skimmer to it. Unless ofcourse I do some DIYing to the tank. Hmm a interesting thought there.
