The female mono is simply gorgeous.

tried hatching brine (didn't work) some sort of fry powder from the store, dt's live phytoplankton, frozen phytoplankton, and ground up little planktons. yes the fish are not mine anymore. i have a picture of the two lovebirds side by side in the cooler they died in somewhere on my computer at home.

Sorry to hear that, brine shrimp can screw you up here and there some trial and error. A very good product is Hikari first bites. i always keep some on hand.

he tried virtually every dry food out there and then brine shirmp, they starved to death

wish mine would spawn again - its been a while !! --- the male is now over 22" - female about 20"
