Nasty Neet

OMG look at those chompers! what kind of fish can go with them and how big do they get ?

Biggest I've seen are 6" for the males and 4-4-1/2" for the females. They can live as individuals in a community but when spawning they are very tough to deal with. If you provide cover they can hang with any big CA Cichlid.

I had a pair of Neets and the male was nasty as all get out... You can bet I was surprised as hell when I came home one day with the tail of that male Neet sticking out of the mouth of a Moba Frontosa. It was too large for the frontosa to digest, and eventually got spit out, but the Neet was long dead.
