Well... once you think you've got everything running smoothly.... think again!
I've had a Nicaraguan/HRP (marked so by the LFS) in my tank now for about a little over 2 months. Everything was going smoothly... until I got back from a short lake trip in Arkansas.
My GT has always been a push over, so the Nic took the backseat to the JD.
Once I got back, something flipped in the Nic. Relentlessly chasing the GT and JD. JD actually stands up to it and won't be pushed around.
However, yesterday I get home from work, and I could tell things are progressing in the wrong direction (You could tell they were lip locking due to abrasions on the JD's face).
Since I originally set all this up for a GT & JD tank, I'll most likely rehome the Nic.
Has anyone ever experienced extreme aggression from a Nicaraguan before? Also, could the LFS have marked this as an inaccurate hybrid based on thew photo?
