Nat Geo's new show: FISH TANK KINGS

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm curious to see how the show gets edited together. I think it will have a more direct tone than what TANKED ended up having.

Sorry guys, you won't see much freshwater. Monster tanks like they do are 99% marine.

To the idea that marine tanks are peaceful... well, they aren't when you deal with the big fish and mega tanks. You'll see.

Correct, the Big Al's chain display tanks were done by Living Color.

Right before I pulled the black tip reefs out and moved them to the main shark display.

Fine with me if they focus mostly on saltwater as I have kept salt in the past and will probably do so again in the future.. Thanks for settling the Big Al's tank question....

I just hope it's not as (fake) melodramatic as Tanked. I mean I understand you gotta make it interesting for TV, but this 'deadline' and all the other mess is so obviously fake it's annoying.

Agreed. I'm curious to see how it turns out. I know 95% of it is staged. Hopefully it comes together well post editing.

Ill give this show a chance hopefully they do things right and show some more of the technical aspects of tanks and proper stocking

I'm watching this show on HGTV called Million Dollar Rooms and they feature this one Florida woman's home. She has this saltwater aquarium that seems to start as a bar and then is fused into a large wall with a walk through arch. She said it costs three hundred thousand dollars.Being in Florida it might have been built by this company and may be featured on an upcoming episode.

Got a link or a pic of that tank.... Gonna go look quick myself as well just to see.
It will be easy to confirm if it's an LC set up or not.

Edit: This one?
