im taking the pan fish ban off but no bule gill any type of crappie of pickerel that stays small enough

Sculpins and sunfish are about your only choices that eat minnows for a 55. Grass pickerels are the smallest and need an 18in wide tank.Crappie get to large.

I doubt this is what you are looking for but native crawfish will eat minnows, when the lights are off mostly, I had some in my native tank for a while pretty cool little guys

I doubt that's the kind of predator you are looking for but it is a suggestion that hasn't been said

That being said I like my warmouth sunfish for the predator side, awesome fish

what does a warmouth look like i know ive caught them and prob had one but i want to be sure
