I thought about crays, but the sides of the pond are a straight drop to 4', so they would have no way of getting to the algae, and the only thing on the bottom is some sand and a few plants. I think I'm going to go with what Noto said and stick with the natives. They're free, I have an unlimited supply, and I dont have to worry about an invasive species getting loose. I'm deffinetely NOT using chemicals. I'm going to put a couple hundred snails in the bog and pond, and about 50 clams in the bog. I might toss in a few small crays when I catch them so the fish can forage for a while. And there will be quite a few livebearers, so they'll eat some algae and provide the occasional snack. Thanks for all your help!
