yea he is as active as a sleepy cod can be i spose. ALWAYS coming to the surface for food. he was with the eel tails he tried to get them to but only sometimes actually chased them. he does bite to hubby learnt the hard way haha. at themoment he is tempoarily in a 4ft tank and the jade perch is in a 6ft by 2.5ft with the eel tails.
they both tend to follow you nad sit and stare waiting for food

It's just the strangest thing these barras.

I just got off the phone to my mate who HAD 3 barra's. His middle sized barra killed the other 2 and his salmon tail catfish:( I really liked his catfish.

1st sleepy cod
2nd Jade perch
also have 4 yellow eel tail cat fish.

havent got any pics of them in tanks at the moment. these ones are from changing tanks over a few weeks ago.
the eel tails are somewhere between 30-40cm. they are in hiding, the jade perch wants to eat them

What are prices and availability on jade perch down there? I've been trying to get some for awhile but no luck.
