imo orangespots are the holy grail of lepomis, I don't know what I'd do to get my hands on a pair. However the 5 prettiest sunfish for me have to be longears, orangespots, northerns, dollars, and redbreasts
pumpkinseeds come shortly after, and are probably tied with greens imo

Lol I'd definitely agree that orange spots are the best. One of the only few north american fish species that can rival african cichlids for color. That and having a max length of 5in makes em perfect for any tank 55g's on up. Granted in a 55g, I wouldn't want to add in many other fish if at all just due to their aggression level.
