native fish in with tropical fish

I tried mixing a sunny with a big chocolate cichlid and the sunny tore it apart.

Sunnies can tear some cichlids apart. That's why cichlid lovers should think about getting some.

I have a largemouth bass ( that I caught locally ) in with a bunch of tropical fish. He thinks he's tropical. water temps are around 79 degrees. He is doing fine, had him for over 3 years. grew from 4 inch fingerling to 12" . here's a picture. Now don't all you "Johnny Dogooders" jump on my case for mixing fish !
