Native Fish lovers in NY & NYC

Just starting up a thread for all New Yorkers who love Native fish and have something in common!

Hey what the heck lets exchange tank pics and grab a beer and talk fish all night, Im good for it!!!!!!!!!

By the way Im in Queens NY and I love my Natives like they are my children!

Haven't owned any natives in years, but they definitely can be beautiful fish.

I live like half an hour from queens only problem is im Underaged for drinking...... Only native i have is american eel.

hi, Im also in NYC up in Harlem. I dont have any natives, but it would be cool to meet up and "Exchange Notes".
What kind of Natives do you have?? I have dwarf cichlids.

Im in ny Longisland... I have had Bass And sunny... Havent really gotten too many natives... Would like to start a native tank though..

If you want North American Native fish then I would suggest joining http://Forum.nanfa.org . There are vendors there that can supply the Natives.

Also, my buddy Paul Sachs from www.aquaculturestore.com has native fish. Best bet with Paul it to start getting them around June. He's got Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Bluegill, Pickerel, Channel Catfish, Bullhead Catfish, Different types of Sunfish and Darters , etc.
