here are more pics. I tried feeding him but he won't touch anything but the Tetra Cichlid Mini-granules. He swims back a little, then charges at the food.

I'm also sure it's a killifish. I'm just curious what makes you sure it's not a seminole? It looks pretty small.
 
I would be willing to make a bet that this is Fundulus seminolis. The banding on it is consistent with a washed out seminolis. The only killifish in FL with this "beakish" snout is the seminolis.
 
well, aren't the seminoles GREEN? mine is about an inch and a half... how big do they get?

Mine seems pretty settled in... He's eating and swimming aaround and looking brownish gray...
