Oh you guys love to doubt me. Well after looking at it some more and by taking the 3rd photo down into photoshop I adjusted it to see how many labials scales it has on it's upper lip. 5-lines have 4 scales and Broadheads have 5. Guess what, it appears to have 4 which means it's a 5-lined skink. But what do I know I only live about 20 minutes away from where he caught it. ;)


Mark are you familiar with King's Gap State Park? Follow the main road up to the top of the mountain and walk around the mansion. There are loads of these guys running around all over the stone walls. Also there are quite a few Copperheads around that wall too so be careful.

I am not aware of this park but i will check it out. I have never found one of these before and was quite excited to find one. They seem like they would be a cool and pretty easy captive. Im not sure how i have hiked this path many many times, and never found these before and didnt know them to exist in PA. I had to pass off the dogs leash to my wife quick so I could get it. Kept trying to bite me..... :irked:
