sounds like me in florida :) gotta love the local saltwater fishes :)

sharks taste sooo good lol sry had to throw it in there.

there are literally tons of saltwater fish native to the usa, the list is nearly endless, especially in the reefs in the keys here, lionfish are even becoming natives here, ive seen all kinds of stuff, right after the hurricanes we have lots of odd balls that get stuck in the currents so name some colors (typical fish here, are silver light blue and grey, im sure thats the case in many saltwater places in the usa, but when you get aournd the reefs theres lots of color variety, i can name stuff thats native to me if youd like

heres a list of fish identification form the florida fish and wildlife website,

http://myfwc.com/WILDLIFEHABITATS/SaltFishID.htm

keep in mind when doing native tank there are limits and regulations on certain fish.....

for example i fish alot in saltwater here, and as of this july 1 2009 we now have to have a saltwater liscense where before we only needed one if we was on a boat

fish example: snook - close every month that dosent end an "r" (just an easy way to remember that, and the slot is 27"-34" no bigger no smaller

just check the laws wherever you plan on getting them (that is if you plan on getting them yourself)
