garibaldi damsels they live of cali. really quite nice but expensive.

there was another guy try to pay for a fish thats caught out of the bay area it was pretty nice but i cant find the thread.

some stores sell vertain fish, like a store in ft pierce, who was offering me a job to move there, that ive helped catch fish for, has a 9000 gallon shark tank with remoras and lookdowns, its just who has what at the time i doubt theres a steady supply at a certain store

So then he want's fish from the florida coast or pacific coast of California?

youre probably gonna have a hard time finding native florida and california fish up there in michigan, if you lived near an ocean you could just stick your line in and catch a few, around california the monsters are sheephead sandbass calico bass sculpin(otherwise known as california scorpion fish) and if youre really crazy leopard sharks and great barracuda, the not so monsters are striped shore crab, purple sea urchin, brittle star, sea stars, solitary green anemone, abalone,black mussels, northern clingfish, tidepool sculpin, sanddollars, black turban snails, blue banded hermit crab, and sea slugs

the first few are things ive caught fishing round here and are kelp forest residents and everything after are things that live in california tidepools

i dunno anything about keeping them in tanks though, im just a good sea explorer, reporting on its bounty
