Native moss?

I found this in a Florida pond and It reminded me of java moss. Does anyone know anything about it? On second look it looks like some type of macro algae

i think you were closest with macro algea. what are you asking if you can put it in your tank? to that sir i say maybe, if it was cleaned so you don't get hitch hikers or parasites or anything

I was just asking if anybody could identify it though I realize now it just looked like a green ball In the picture... Any way I but it in my tank and it looks fine
