Koi and common carp are the same species (Cyprinus carpio). The goldfish (Carassius auratus) while similer in both behavior and apperance is a much different fish, not even in the same genus.
yes, but do they not have the same affect on the environment? i think they are pretty much the same, including kio, they were all intorduced the same into the US?
