I feel that the bass and the cat are more than enough for the 120G...thats just my opinion though. This is coming from a owner of a LMB. They are aggressive....trust me he will want to dominate the tank as he grows.

oh an indoor pond is in the future. the bass are this years babys so i have a good 3-4 years :D

thinking 1 bullhead, the pickerel and the gar oh and 1 smallie

List definitely needs to be reduced, atleast till you get a good sized indoor pond. Thats a large list.
You should probably pick between the gar and the pikerel, and with that mixture, I'd be looking at a Chain Pikerel instead of the Grass, they get larger and a lot of that list are larger aggressive fish that would love to eat a pikerel
Perch are great fish, I love my two. Unlike what most people say about them, I think they have wonderful personalities.

thell all be feed pellets so i shouldnt have to worry about comp. betwen them for minnows. yeah ive been thinking about a chain

It doesn't really matter what you feed them, if there's a nummy looking tankmate it will become food, and if your starving some of them to pellet train them those smaller skinny fish (like a pikerel) would look really good when your a starving fish.

And as for the Chain, it would be better with the fish you have now and a lot of your list, but remember that they can get 2' long, meaning it can't stay in that 120 for long.

In a 120 I would suggest sticking with the bass and channel, maybe chosing one other thing off the list like two or three yellow perch, or one smallie, or one or two bluegill. But a 120 isn't really as big as it seems. What are the dimensions of the 120 anyway?

the tank is 4 foot(L), 2 foot (W), 2 foot (H) the bass and the channel are already pellet trained, and what ever other fish i get would be put in a q. tank by him self untill i get him eating then ill switch him to pellets. Ill be getting a 200-300gal cattle trough probly this summer went to buy one a few days ago but the local stores dont have them til spring or summer

yeah plans of changed since this thread

are you asking for suggestions to lower the species? if so id drop bluegill and sunfish, even thought they are fun at a younger age, and id keep everything else. also, bluegill are a species of sunfish, so that reduced itself without saying;)
o wow i didnt realize it was for 120 g, its pretty much overstocked already. theres no way you could have all of those in a 120. its even too small for the lmb for life, would be too small for the smb, too small for florida gar and probably alright for grass pickerel. the rest of the species could probably fit 2 or 3 crappie alone, 2 perch alone, and maybe 1 bullhead alone. hope this helps
