i havnt put any of my fish from my tank yet into the pond, excluding about 20, 1 inch bass i raised in a tank untill they were 2.5-3 inchs
just remember that a full grown white sturgeon is close to the size if a pima. plus they love cool water with a current.
they like cool water because its rich with oxygen, like i said i am looking for a chain pickerel, i will probly get one in the spring or summer

I don't know why you would even want a chain pickerel when you have the option of a grass or redfin, still not something you could properly house. Look MST, there are over 30,000 species of fishes on the planet, lay off the big guys till you can properly house them. There is more to the hobby than your fish lust. Makes me wonder why your list of departed fishes is so long, especially for a 16 year old.

grass pickerel would get ate by the bass and the channel cat
