Anyone going to ACA that's interested in natives? I live in Central Texas and would love to trade some natives (Darters, shiners, chubs, etc.) with someone from somewhere else in the US. Preferably fish that don't need a chiller, cuz I don't have any. Anyone from Missouri? Y'all have some beautiful Daces- that's what I really want a few of; there's only one type in Tx, and there way out west. We have some beautiful Orange throat darters down here, and all kindsa other nice stuff. Lemme know, trades only.

go gator gars!!!

I like spotted gars better. Gars are everywhere, very cool, but I don't have the room for big monsters, just mini monsters right now. I work a minute's walk from a tank that I'm guessin is 7000 or 8000 gals and full of gar, channel cats, black bass, Guadalupe Bass (the state fish), sunfish, and the like.

Maybe I'm in the wrong place, but along with Tanganyikans, Geophagus, unusual plecos, and discus, I like native minnows... the under-appreciated underdogs of the NA fish world. If someone wanted to trade a baby gar (I don't think there are size restrictions) for some cool minnows, I'd see what I can do. Warmouths are also wicked fish that you can find 'round here.

Once I get that Acre tank on the land I don't have yet, I'll have more Texas size fish than I'll know what to do with.

Howdy, y'all! Check out my post in the "Introduce Yourself" section about ACA. I can't help you with your quest to trade, but we're trying to gather a contingent to meet up at the convention! :grinno:
