Natural/Fine Sand vs Pool Filter Sand

I know it's more like LFS sand, but I picked up ESTES Ceramaquartz at $22 per 50 pounds.

Amazing stuff and only required light rinsing. No cloudiness. I poured it into an already established tank. It stays on the bottom very well.

I use pfs because its a larger particle size. Sinks quickly with diggers.

Cheap and comes clean. I also use Ecco complete mixed with pfs in 2 tanks. Breaks things up and doesn't show as much waste.

PlaySand is Looks Good but kick up easy and always find it in the canister. it has ruin a few HOB when its suck up with WC
