Natural or Blue Background????

Black for me. Black or brown are my preferred backgrounds for FW and brackish water setups. Blue for marine.

I do... before doing that you can try to change out the gravel to something lighter.

I prefer blue also. I have a couple tanks painted blue. I also think lighter substrate would help.
