I'm looking for a natural looking kinda multicolored sand.

Steenfott aquatics uses basically what I'm looking for in this vid at around 1 min in,

But unfortunately that's not available where I am so online would be my best bet.

Links would be appreciated :)

From the bag it looks kinda dark, do you have any pics of it in your tanks?

Recently I made a mixture using 2 bags floramax original, 1 bag floramax volcanic red, 1 bag tan gravel. It turned out darker than what you pointed out in that video, but I love the way it turned out

Don't have it in my tank. I know one of the poly guys have it and it looks nice.

That does look really nice but a bit to dark for me.
Buy playground sand from Home Depot (5 bucks/50 lbs) then mix those together to lighten up the color. Also, the subtrate in picture look dark cause of low lighting too, your lighting will have major role with your substrate setup.

Very true. The pic I posted is of a tank for polypterus, which are nocturnal, so the tank is pretty dim. Most aquarium lights are much brighter and would make the substrate look lighter

I used quick-crete all purpose sand, from HD or lowes.had to rinse it a lot. I like the look with small gravel added in.this is in my 90 SA cichlid tank, here is a picIMG_7699.JPG

Oh wow that does look nice,I think I'm gonna go with peace river sand since I dont need much for a 20 long. Buying a big 50lb bag from lowes or home depot would be a waste for me since I don't plan on getting anymore tanks. But that guys!
