I recognize almost all of those spots in the park as well as devils tower.

I WAS JUST saying to myself..."Do I remember Devl's Tower being in Yellowstone?" and then I scrolled down and saw your post and I was like "WOW, I was there in 1987....how the HELL did I remember that?"
Also,...... GEEZ!!! Talk about a CLOSE-UP!!! That Bison wasn't even afraid of cars??? Also, the Ice-looking stuff.......it's not actually ice, is it? Some type of limestone or similar ?

The bison have no fear of cars whatsoever.
The ice stuff is a mineral deposit from different smaller gysers.
