Hello everyone, I know there are many people on this site who have been in the armed forces and special forces or have military background. I have not posted in a while, bn goin thru alot and training alot and preparing myself for B.U.D.S. I have wanted to be a Navy Seal for a while now and I have actually started the process for meeting this great challenge, which I will overcome. Its 90% mental and 10% physical and I will endure wat I must to become a Seal. Im not just some guy wanting to be a badass, I really respect these guys and love the fact they are behind the scenes HEROES. Im 24yrs old and I want to make a career outta this. January 7th is when im scheduled to take my P.S.T and after that I will receive my SEAL contract. Jus thought I would post this and let you guys and gals know Im willing to put myself in harms way for wat I believe. Any one who has walked the path im headed im asking for any help or advice which would be greatly appreciated. And much respect to anyone in the military no matter wat the branch may be. MUCH RESPECT TO ANYONE WHO HAS FALLEN OR LOST SOMEONE IN COMBAT FIGHTING WHICH ALLOWS ME AND MANY OTHERS TO LIVE THIS COMFORTABLE LIFE THE U.S. PROVIDES US......

Good luck to you,may God keep you safe and you keep us posted with your progress.

Thank you everyone....I will def keep u updated on my progress and keep me in your prayers. This is something I have wanted to do for a while now and I will give my all to achieve it.

I am canadian so not totally familar with your branch, though I come with a background myself.

The one advice I can give is this control the switch don't let the switch control you!

Good luck with all your dreams and goals - All very admirable and please keep us updated...

You've only got one life to live so live it to its fullest!!!

Again, different country and branch of the armed forces, but best of luck to you. It sounds like you're going in with the right attitude to succeed and achieve your goals with the Seals.

Are you a really good swimmer?

Yea I am.....all I need to work on is my speed in the water. Im totally comfortable in the water and next week will begin training wit a buddy of mine on drownproofing. Swimming and bobbing up and down off the bottom with my hands and feet tied up. Thank you everyone for the support it means alot and I will def be thinking about that and alot of other things when I feel like quitting, but know that I cant.
