On the news they reported people initially hearing what they thought were 2 gunshots then a few minutes later hearing 3 more shots. That's 5 reported shots fired yet 10 people critically wounded and 1 death. The man that was killed was hit in the head and hand. Haven't checked the newest updates but that math was all wrong. Unless they were all standing in lines (that didn't happen). So what did happen?

how does a guy walk around a navy base with a rifle when he isnt even supposed to be on base at all?
Good point,and in the first place I don't think you can just enter a base as if it is a shopping mall.I'd think there would be a entry check point with guard/s....maybe they were taken out first?

I'll will just say it's another senseless tragedy and bow out before the idiots get it shut down.
We would assume any military installation would have armed guards with weapons to prevent such things from happening. If a lone gunman can do some much damage, a planned attack by terrorists will be much worst. I know the military will exam this incident and learn from it. RIP to all that was killed.
