I could make the arguement that he wasn't even the best player on his team (cough) KG (cough), much less the "WORLD".Yes, He did preform better than KG in the finals, but preforming and being are two different things.

I WILL make the arguement that he isn't the best player in his conference, ie Lebron, Dwight Howard, and a healthy Dwayne Wade.

I will definetely, as would 90% of NBA fans, make the arguement that his isn't the best player in the NBA, ie KOBE BRYANT, Tim Duncan, maybe even throw a Manu Ginobili ahead of him.

IMO Paul Pierce isn't even a top 5 player in the NBA, but I would give him a top 10.

He isn't even top 5 in the NBA, and he is out there throwing around "Best Player in the World"

I am sorry Mr. Pierce, that Title is not chosen by you. He is a cocky, arrogant half-a-star.....

Oh yeah, Peirce is a dummy for saying that, take a poll of NBA gm's and see who they would take first Kobe or Peirce, I don't think you'll even get one Peirce vote, even in Boston.
