Here's a good article on Brandan Jennings, he skipped going to college for "the year" and is playing overseas instead. He is basically the first guy to do that, so it's pretty interesting, because he could set the trend of guys choosing not to go to college, and play in Europe, then come back to the NBA. We'll see how Stern adapts to this, his "globalization" is starting to work against him more and more.....

Alright boys, time to start getting ready. Pistons media day was this week, first preseason game is on saturday, I'm getting fired up for the season to start! Let's get this thread going again.

Now that I know most of you are in, when should we have the draft?

I'd like to wait till the preseason is coming to an end, just so we can steer clear of injuries.

Oh and the Shock won another WNBA title. I know it's the WNBA but, the Shock are pretty darn good. They already have 3 titles. I wonder how long it will be before Bill Lambier gets his shot coaching in the NBA.

Aright, everybody list the good/bad times for a possible live draft. It sounds like nights are obviously better, but we will see if it can work.
Also, instead of a live draft (online pick after pick by each team), we could do an automated draft where we each do our own personal ranking system for the players, and the cpu picks for us based on our own determined "best available". Let me know what you think.

Ok, I created the league, and I did it with an automated draft. While not as fun, it does make it easier for it to actually happen because of the differences in everyones schedules. Right now it's set for the 21st. So, now you guys need to join on CBSsportsline.com, go to the fantasy page, go to basketball, make a team, and then it will bring you to the league page. Click on the "private league" link, it will allow you to search, and in the search box just type "MFK". It will bring you to our page, but you will need a password to officially log on. PM me and let me know when you do that stuff and I'll give you the password, once we're all in, we'll recruit more because we need 12 people.

Oh and let's see who can come up with the most creative team name too, some of the cool one's I"ve heard are, Shawn Livingston's Knee, Alonzo's Liver, Ewing's nose, right now mine is, Josh Howards Patriotism, but it is subject ot change.
