  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I transfer mine to their own tank with the same PH as the tank they were bred in. (use a 40 breeder to a 180) I feed live black worms for about 2 weeks slowly weaning them to chopped earthworms, then shrimp, scallops etc. Never lost any pups yet. Hope this helps.

I believe so also, thus asking for any method to make sure that the water is safe for the pups. Firstly, such problem is it arised rom bacteria inside the water? must identify the problem first b4 I can solve the problem. Thks for any comments.

maybe try a water drip system and add extra filtration.... its worth a shot...

Thks for all the ideas and help given, will try what ever is possible. Can't leave the pups inside the ponds as all the other big rays something like 15 pieces 16 inches up will finish them up. Thks again.

Do you have any friends that breeds rays..? If so, try and give him some of your pups and see how it gows.. Though, clean them in water form his system before adding them to his tank/s..
if they do good, then its your water that’s bad.
Are you getting pups from more than one female?

I have over 20 females that are producing now. Is a gd idea to do this, but if my water is bad, how can the rays still breeding well and surviving ok? Maybe pups are more sensitive .

interesting point.... pups are more sensitive to water.... i still think beefing up the filtration and adding a auto water changer is a good idea.....
