nebie to ponds need help

oh and as for the water changes... you dont need to change it that much as long as your pump/filter system turns over the water so much an hour. but for the first couple of weeks there are tablets youll have to put in, and if there's bacteria growing in the pond thats a good thing you want some natural bacteria for the ecosystem of the pond.

With a pond your going to be topping it off weekly to offset evaporation, then partial W/C's as the pond chemistry dictates, probably once a month or two depending on bio-load (amount & kind of fish) since it's a small pond.

A hard liner is a pre-molded pond that you dig a hole and just drop it in, they sell them at Home Depot & Lowes, usually smaller.

$1200. US should get you a nice pond and a lounge chair to set by it :D.

You can go with an in-pond pump / filter / fountain setup to keep it simple .
