I just r-did my 55g and it looks awesome. I got 3 bags of eco complete (I'll do real plants later on), some driftwood, and a bunch of random fake plants (i wanted to simulae real ones until I get them, and I have my syno. cats, my plecos, my CL's, and a few community fish in there. It looks really good.
(I have PC's and eco complete, and I'm deciding if I wanna go with a co2 or not..... so its a work in progress)

What kind of natives...they have kinda sparked my interests. But my mom may not like it cuz they arent "pretty" enough. Its gonna kinda be a show tank so keep that in mind.
if you find some nice enough bluegill or other sunfish use that. i have caught a pumpkin seed that looked a little like a discus in color.
