I don't have any recommendations, but you're chances of getting answers are better if you post during the evening hours. GL

Laguna makes the most efficient submersible pumps imho. I would get the Laguna 2900 for your setup. How is the plumbing setup on your tank? You want to aim for 10x turnover so ideally 2200 gph.

So how is your tank plumb'd? Overflows? Bulkhead size? All that is helpful with pump recommendation. I still say go with Laguna, I run 2x Laguna 2400s on my 360 Gallon and 1x Laguna 4200 on my 270 Gallon. They are extremely efficient and have high flow, much better than Mag Drives.

I have one center overflow with 1 1/4" drain holes and 3/4 "return . I like Lagunas but they are to big for this sump return area . Are there any really good ones that are quiet and smaller

I like Laguna pumps. I have no problem fitting it in my 29g sump
