festae will kill smaller tankmates , id go down the severum route much less aggressive although in my eyes not as pretty as festae but still stunning colours and you won't end up with just one fish

The tank mates will not be small

not only this but if i remember correctly they are a breeding pair of jags.......not much you can keep with them

I am planning on moving the breeding pair, I have decided to leave them with themselves and a few convicts to beat up on. This will be for a community tank, 125 gal, but it does already have a jag in it, female.

in that case id opt for someting like trimac , Mayan , festae , Texas even an Oscar , there you go nbar there's something to think about hahaha

Not sure if I would call it pretty but a large haitienses has to be one of the showiest with it oversize caudal fin and long trailing unpaired fins.
