I just got another 10g tank and need your guys and gals opinions on what kind of Cichlid pair would be good. Let me know, i would like something bright that would go good with the Electric Yellows someday in a bigger tank. So Africans would be great.

if not for the african part, i would have suggested a gold or bolivian ram. Not gonna work if you plan on adding them to a group of africans later on though.

I was thinkiing the same thing. Go with gold or german blue rams.

Apistogrammae Cockatuoides would be good. They are a small dwarf cichlid that does well with discus but is not aggressive at all so would not do well with larger africans unless you plan on using them for expensive feeders...

i would go with a pair of rams in a heavily planted tank with sand. That would look pretty sweet. I've wanted a smaller tank that i could just fill with plants, looks like you have a good opportunity

i would go w/ a pair of N.brichardi or some other Neolamprologus species
