Told ya!lol It really just comes down to personal preference. I like the big mean S.O.B.s myself! Dont get me wrong I here ya with the royals. I own one of them too and I have a tank set up JUST for him because he's my only herbivore. So yeah, I like royals too!

Agreed. My smallest L-114 has grown about 1" in about a year. 1-2" I would say would be typical. And yes the L-24 and L-600 are both amazing psuedacanthicus also. ctoychik and I have discussed this in the past and I was under the impression that the L-600 and L-114 are the same fish just different patterns and colors. From some more research I am understanding that they may not be the same exact fish and the L-600 can grow much larger than the L-114 and I have also heard that they may not be as shy as the L-114. I believe you will find different opinions depending on who you talk to on that topic. I NEVER see my 4" L-114. My 11"er that I believe may be an L-600 will come out and hang outside of his cave when the lights are on now that he is good and settled in that tank.
