My wc argentea was at the bottom of the pecking order until he got to about 10 inches then he just became a @$$#hole,beat down fish much larger than himself,as far a regani i have four that are 9"+ and one is very out going and the other three are shy so ist hard to say each fish has its own personality.
So in my experience with wc vieja tank size doesnt matter that much(they are use to large territories in the wild) some will just be aggressive and some will not,just give as much room as possible and keep an eye on them.
